PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing the sweetness of sweetening components coexisting in a food and drink product, the sweetness of glucose and fructose in particular, without increasing calories of the food and drink product and a food and drink product with sweetness enhanced by the method.SOLUTION: The amount of 20 to 60% of total degree of sweetness derived from glucose and fructose to be used as raw material of a food and drink product is replaced with the sweetness derived from a rare sugar-containing syrup.
