PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot-controlled recording apparatus especially for recording X-ray image data and a method corresponding thereto.SOLUTION: This robot-controlled recording apparatus includes: a robot for controlling a plurality of moving shafts through a robot control part 12 for moving a robot hand 5 and a recording system fitted to the robot hand 5 to record data on an object supported on a support device, wherein the robot control part 12 is connected to a driving device 13, when the robot hand 5 moves, the movement is controlled in synchronization with the moving shafts, and an additional moving device 13 generates the relative rotary motion and/or translation motion between the recording system and the support device generated by the motion of the robot hand 5 as if it is generated only by the support device with the robot hand 5 standing still.
