PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article relatively thin, excellent in the feel of wearing, and having a liquid absorbing structure capable of quickly absorbing a bodily fluid.SOLUTION: The liquid absorbing structure 15 includes a liquid-permeable body side liner 36 and a liquid-absorbing layer. The liquid-absorbing layer includes a liquid-permeable first sheet, a liquid-permeable or impermeable second sheet, and water-absorbing polymer particles fixed at least to the inner surface of the first sheet. A plurality of lines of elastic bodies 37 extending in the vertical direction at least at the center of the liquid-absorbing layer are disposed in the elongated state between the body side liner 36 and the first sheet. The body side liner 36 and the first sheet are extended in the vertical direction and joined via a plurality of joints separated at prescribed intervals in the lateral direction.
