PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing an absorber from being wrinkled and capable of suppressing movement of super absorbent polymer (SAP) and suppressing leakage as well.SOLUTION: The tape-type disposable diaper 100 includes a top sheet 18, a back sheet 20, a plurality of absorbers 30 disposed between the top sheet 18 and the back sheet 20 and composing a layered structure consisting of a first absorbent layer 31 and a second absorbent layer 33, and an intermediate liquid permeable sheet 32a disposed between the first absorbent layer 31 and the second absorbent layer 33. The first absorbent layer 31 has three first absorbers 31a arranged separately from one another in the lateral direction, and the second absorbent layer 33 has two second absorbers 33a arranged separately from each other in the lateral direction. The two second absorbers 33a are respectively disposed to be laid on both adjacent first absorbers 31a of the three first absorbers 31a. These absorbers 30 are respectively disposed within a space partitioned by the intermediate liquid permeable sheet 32a.
