PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type disposable diaper which can suppress leakage of excretion, and which can give an impression in which the underpants type disposable diaper allows a wearer to pass his/her legs easily into the underpants type disposable diaper, to a wearer or the like.SOLUTION: An underpants type disposable diaper (1) comprises: an absorbent body (10) a belly side waistline part (3) and a back side waistline part (4), in which an exterior body (20) is provided on a non-skin side of the absorbent body (10), and a leakage prevention wall (50) is provided on each of both sides of the absorbent body (10) in a lateral direction. The leakage prevention wall (50) comprises a junction (61) where one side surfaces in a thickness direction are jointed, so that end parts in the lateral direction are directed to outside, on a lower end area (50BA), and a non-junction (62) where surfaces in the thickness direction are not jointed, on an upper area of the junction (61), and when viewing the diaper (1) from the belly side, on the lower end area (50BA), at least a part of each leakage prevention wall (50) is exposed to the lateral direction from the exterior body (20).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
