PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type disposable diaper whose inlet of a back side barrier is wide and can be easily opened.SOLUTION: There is provided the underpants type disposable diaper comprising a barrier sheet 71 which extends from a position on a front side of a rear end of an absorber 13 to a rear side, and extends to outside of a width direction WD relative to positions of both side edges of the absorber 13 in the width direction WD.
