The present invention relates to a bad smell removing device in which bad smell gas generated in the process of fermenting livestock manure into compost is supplied to a scrubber pocket of a water tank through a cyclone, and the temperature of water filled in the water tank is regulated by a heat exchanger, thereby regulating the amount of ammonia in bad smell gas melted in the water and recovering waste heat by using the heat exchanger and a waste heat recovery tank. The bad smell removing device comprises: a cyclone (20) receiving bad smell gas discharged from a closed fermenter (10) and separating dust included in the bad smell gas； a water tank (30) receiving the bad smell gas discharged from the cyclone (20), and separating ammonia (NH3) included in the bad smell gas from a scrubber pocket (31) placed therein； a scrubber (40) secondarily removing bad smell substances from the gas discharged from the water tank (30)； a mist eliminator (50) removing moisture included in the gas discharged from the scrubber (40)； a gas diluting device (60) mixing the gas discharged from the mist eliminator (50) with outside air and discharging the mixture； and a heat exchanger (70) reducing the temperature of the water of the scrubber pocket (31) in order to increase the ammonia solubility.본 발명은 축산분뇨를 퇴비로 발효하는 과정에서 발생하는 악취가스를 사이클론을 통해 물탱크의 스크러버 포켓으로 공급하고, 물탱크에 채워진 물의 온도를 열교환기를 이용하여 조절하게 됨으로써, 악취가스에 포함된 암모니아가 물에 녹는 양을 조절할 수 있으며, 열교환기와 폐열회수 탱크를 이용하여 폐열을 회수할 수 있는 악취제거장치에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 악취제거장치는 밀폐형 발효기(10)에서 배출되는 악취 가스를 받아들여, 악취 가스에 포함된 분진을 분리하는 사이클론(20)과, 사이클론(20)에서 배출되는 악취 가스를 받아들여, 내부에 배치된 스크러버 포켓(31 ； Scrubber Pocket)에서 악취가스에 포함된 암모니아(NH3)를 분리하는 물탱크(30)와, 물탱크(30)에서 배출되는 가스에서 악취물질을 2차로 제거하는 스크러버 장치(40 ； Scrubber)와, 스크러버 장치(40)에서 배출되는 가스에 포함된 수분을 제거하는 미스트 엘리미네이터(50)와, 미스트 엘리미네이터(50)에서 배출되는 가스를 외기와 혼합하여 배출하는 가스희석장치(60)와, 암모니아 용해도를 높이기 위해 스크러버 포켓(31)의 물의 온도를 낮추기 위한 열교환기(70)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
