The disclosure provides a frozen dessert composition comprising (A) palatinose in an amount of about 6 to 15% by weight based on the total weight of the composition and (B) dextrin or a combination of dextrin and soluble dietary fiber in an amount of about 10 to 30% by weight based on the total weight of the composition.
