PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chewing gum most suitable for chewing training.
SOLUTION: The gum for the chewing training has three average values of an average muscle action value of the masseter muscle, an average muscle action value of the orbicularis oris muscle and an average chewing number, exceeding each average value when a plurality of kinds of chewing gums having different hardnesses, weights and sizes is given to a plurality of testees by one kind, and is chewed steadily for a prescribed time by ten times by right and left molars alternately while closing lips, each of the whole average values of the chewing numbers and the muscle action values by the masseter muscle and the orbicularis oris muscle is calculated by measuring the chewing number in a prescribed period and the muscle action values by the masseter muscle and the orbicularis oris muscle by each testee.
