PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packaging device that can accurately package a medicine.SOLUTION: A medicine packaging device 10 comprises: a medicine cassette 12 that houses a predetermined type of medicine a camera 24 that measures an amount of the medicine 36 dropped from the medicine cassette 12 and a load cell 28 that receives the medicine 36 dropped from the medicine cassette 12 to measure its weight. The amount of the medicine is calculated by using a portion of an image taken by the camera 24. Thereby, the amount of the medicine 36 dropped from the medicine cassette 12 can be accurately measured.
