PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam irradiation device where an electron beam can be uniformly irradiated to the whole of the outer surface of a storage body utilizing a compact low energy electron accelerator, the sterilization level of each part is made the same and the reliability and safety of sterilization effect can be highly maintained, further, the cost and the using limit (service life) of the electron accelerator are elongated, and the initial cost and the maintenance cost of the device can be low suppressed.SOLUTION: When the bottom face part of a storage body is carried by a carrying means and each side face part of the storage body is irradiated with an electron beam, the position of the storage body is moved by the carrying means in such a manner that the distance between each side face part of the storage body and the irradiation window of an electron accelerator is made almost equal. Next, when the side face part of the storage body is held by a holding means, and the upper face part and the bottom face part of the storage body are irradiated with electron beams, the position of the storage body is moved by the holding means in such a manner that the distance between the upper face part and the bottom face part of the storage body and the irradiation window of the electron accelerator is made almost equal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】小型低エネルギー電子加速器を利用して収納体の外表面全体に均一に電子線を照射することが可能で、各部位の滅菌レベルを同程度にして滅菌効果の信頼性と安全性を高く維持できると共に、電子加速器のコストと使用限界(寿命)を長くして装置の初期費用とメンテナンス費用を低く抑えることができる電子線照射装置を提供する。【解決手段】担持手段により収納体の底面部を担持して収納体の各側面部を電子線照射しているときには、収納体の各側面部と電子加速器の照射窓との距離が略等距離になるように担持手段により収納体の位置を移動させる。次に、挟持手段により収納体の側面部を挟持して収納体の上面部及び底面部を電子線照射しているときには、収納体の上面部及び底面部と電子加速器の照射窓との距離が略等距離になるように挟持手段により収納体の位置を移動させる。【選択図】図4
