PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter needing neither the cutting operation of a seedling planting device nor the rising operation of a seedling carrying section at the time of riding over a ridge while planting seedlings, so that the seedling transplanter can be concentrated on the operation of riding over the ridge.SOLUTION: A seedling planter 41 is arranged in the lower portion of a seedling carrying section 45 located at the back of a running vehicle body 7, and an inclination sensor 12 for detecting the inclination of the vehicle body 7 detects an inclination of a predetermined angle or more in a forward rising direction. When the inclination sensor 12 takes an inclination angle closer to a horizon than that predetermined angle, a control device 200 determines that a seedling transplanter rides over a ridge and turns "OFF" the seedling planter 41.
