PURPOSE: A method for preparing placental extract is provided to completely prevent potential viral contamination. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing placental extract comprises: a step of inactivating virus using surfactant and solvent； a step of inactivating virus by irradiating UV ray； and a step of removing virus using a nanofilter. The solvent is TNBP(tri-N-butyl phosphate). The intensity of the UV ray is 1,000 J/m^2-3,000 J/m^2. A method for preparing the placental extract comprises: a step of pulverizing placental tissue in an aqueous medium to prepare a placental solution； a step of separating the placental solution into an aqueous part and a solid part； a step of adding surfactant and solvent to inactivate virus； a step of removing the surfactant and solvent； a step of irradiating the placental solution with UV ray to inactivate the virus； and a step of filtering the placental solution to remove virus and bacteria.
