PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container as medical appliance which does not open easily when dropped but is easy to open when used.SOLUTION: The container as medical appliance is composed of a container body 10, a lid body 20 which can open and close the opening 101 on the container body 10, and a hinge part 30 which connects the container body 10 and the lid body 20. The container body 10 has a container body side protruding piece 151 formed on the other end, and a container body side locking end part 153 positioned on one end of the container body 10 rather than the container body side protruding piece 151. The lid body 20 has a lid body side protruding piece 241 formed on the other end, a lid body side locking end piece 242 extending to one end side from the lid body side protruding piece 241 over the lid body 20. The lid body side locking end piece 242 is positioned on a surface of the container body 10 opposite to the surface on which the lid body side protruding piece 241 is positioned, and locked by being caught on the container body side locking end part 153.
