PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for shortening a frying time from the aspect of the improvement of a fry retainer.SOLUTION: A porous fry retainer comprises a retainer body where a plurality of cup-like containers are continuously arranged and integrated, and a retainer lid where a plurality of lid parts are continuously arranged and integrated, correspondingly to an opening of each of the cup-like containers of the retainer body, and is used for production of fry noodle lumps.
