PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion type cleansing cosmetic which is excellent in massaging property and has a high cleansing effect on a make-up agent or sebum soil by phase inversion from O/W type to a lamellar liquid crystal at appropriate timing, excellent touch feeling when rinsing and excellent storage stability.SOLUTION: There is provided an emulsion type cleansing cosmetic which comprises the following components (A) to (C) and is phase-converted from O/W type to a lamellar liquid crystal during cleansing, wherein the value of the ratio, component (A)/components (A+B) is 0.1 or more and 0.35 or less and the value of the ratio, components (A+B)/components (A+B+C) is 0.66 or more and 0.78 or less.
