PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparation of insect pest repellant for harvested plant, a method for processing harvested plant, a method for treating vegetable waste, a method for producing detergent composition for insect pest repellant and a detergent composition for insect pest repellant.SOLUTION: The method for preparation of the insect pest repellant comprises a step of feeding a plant, a step of collecting a part of the plant, a step of obtaining the extract from the plant and a step of coating the extract on the harvested plant.
