PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect pest-repellent agent which can be used to an insect pest which damages a shoot, the insect pest-repellent agent using an extract obtained from a plant raw material as an active component, wherein the plant raw material is derived from natural resources, is easily available since the resources in nature are relatively abundant, and is highly safe for human body.SOLUTION: An extract is extracted from the bidens plant, and an insect pest control agent which can be used to an insect pest which damages a shoot is derived by using the extract as an active component.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】 天然資源を由来として、かつ自然界におけるその資源量が比較的豊富であるため、入手しやすく、かつ人体にとって安全性の高い植物原料より得られる抽出物を有効成分とした、植物体地上部に被害を与える害虫に対して用いることのできる害虫忌避剤を提供する。【解決手段】キク科センダングサ属植物より抽出物を抽出し、これを有効成分として、植物体地上部に被害を与える害虫に対して用いることのできる害虫防除剤を誘導した。【選択図】 図1
