PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip-deflectable steerable catheter preventing a shaft part at a rear end side from being bent even by pulling operations of operation wires in the catheter having no anti-compression member disposed at the shaft part at the rear end side of a tip flexible portion.SOLUTION: The catheter includes: a catheter shaft 100 of a multilumen structure having a tip flexible portion 10A and operation wires 61 and 62 that are inserted into lumens of the catheter shaft 100 for bending the tip flexible portion 10A and, the rear end of which is pullingly operable.
