PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar needle type microwave surgical instrument utilizing microwaves and having excellent hemostasis and coagulation performance at a deep part of a living tissue.SOLUTION: The bipolar needle type microwave surgical instrument having a tip being a coaxial cable, includes a center conductor 1 for transmitting microwaves, an insulator 2, and an external conductor 3. A cylindrical tip having a conical tip 5 (hereinafter referred to as a tip) is installed at the tip part to which the central conductor is connected, the tip 5 has a maximum diameter part of 1.6-2.7 mm, the length of the tip including the cylindrical part is 5-22 mm, and an acute angle of the cone is 38-42 degrees.
