PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a plant cultivation device for shifting a plant grown in a plant cultivation medium (flower and ornamental plant, fruit tree, vegetable, or the like) to a hydroponic culture, and to extend the life of a dry battery for operating an air pump motor of a bubble generating device for increasing the dissolved oxygen concentration in the water in a water storage container.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device comprises: a water storage container 1 a cultivation container 2 installed in an opening of the water storage container 1 a hardened culture medium 3 placed in the cultivation container 2 water supply strings 5 for supplying the hardened medium 3 with water in the water storage container 1 and bubble generating device 6 for generating air bubbles in the water storage container 1. Holes 16 are formed in a bottom face of the cultivation container 2 to pass the water supply strings 5 therethrough. The plant is allowed to pass its roots through the holes 16 and extend the roots downward. The bubble generating device 6 comprises: an air pump 24 using dry batteries 23 as a power source an air stone 26 in communication with the air pump 24 to blow out air bubbles inside the water storage container 1 and a control device 27 for controlling on/off of power supply to the motor of the air pump 24 to operate the air pump intermittently at a constant low energization rate.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】植物栽培用培地で育成した植物(花卉、果樹、野菜等)を水耕栽培に移行させる植物栽培器具の改良。貯水容器の水の溶存酸素濃度を高める気泡発生装置のエアーポンプのモータを作動させる乾電池の寿命を延ばす。【解決手段】貯水容器1と、その開口部に設置された栽培容器2と、栽培容器2内に置かれた固化培地3と、固化培地3に貯水容器1内の水を給水する給水紐5と、貯水容器1内で気泡を発生させる気泡発生装置6からなる植物栽培器具。栽培容器2の底面に給水布5を通す穴16が形成されている。植物の根が穴16を通過して下方に根を延ばす。気泡発生装置6は、乾電池23を電源とするエアーポンプ24と、エアーポンプ24に連通し貯水容器1内で気泡28を吹き出すエアーストーン26と、エアーポンプ24のモータへの通電をオン-オフ制御し、エアーポンプ24を一定の低い通電率で断続運転させる制御装置27からなる。【選択図】図1
