The present invention relates to a spoon yogurt containing turmeric or curcuma longa and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a spoon yogurt containing turmeric or curcuma longa and a manufacturing method thereof wherein the method has a characteristic of including the steps of: (a) preparing turmeric or curcuma longa powder (b) mixing water, non-fat milk and glucose with the powder (c) sterilizing the mixture (d) seeding lactobacillus into the sterilized mixture and culturing the lactobacillus (e) additionally mixing the turmeric or curcuma longa powder with the cultured lactobacillus and (f) homogenizing the cultured lactobacillus. The spoon yogurt containing the turmeric or the curcuma longa according to the present invention has functionality as a healthful yogurt containing the turmeric or the curcuma longa including a great amount of nutrients good to the human as well as has functionality of the level equal to or higher than conventional spoon yogurt, thereby providing the yogurt with excellent functionality.
