PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image system enabling a user to capture a medical image from an image generation device even when a medical image management device is in a capturing standby state on the basis of an instruction to capture an image from another client terminal.SOLUTION: In a capturing standby state based on an instruction to capture an image from a client terminal 4A (step S3), when an image capturing button is depressed in a client terminal 4B (step S4), a medical image management device 2 notifies information that an online state of the client terminal 4A is being continued to the client terminal 4B (step S6). When an instruction to release the online state of the client terminal 4A is transmitted from the client terminal 4B (step S8), the medical image management device 2 releases the online state of the client terminal 4A (step S9), and enters a capturing standby state based on the instruction to capture the image from the client terminal 4B (step S11).【課題】別のクライアント端末からの画像取り込み指示に基づいて医用画像管理装置が取り込み待機状態となっている場合であっても、画像生成装置からの医用画像の取り込みを可能とする。【解決手段】クライアント端末４Ａからの画像取り込み指示に基づく取り込み待機状態で（ステップＳ３）、クライアント端末４Ｂで画像取り込みボタンが押下されると（ステップＳ４）、医用画像管理装置２は、クライアント端末４Ａのオンライン状態が継続中である旨の情報をクライアント端末４Ｂに通知する（ステップＳ６）。クライアント端末４Ｂからクライアント端末４Ａのオンライン状態を解除する旨の指示が送信されると（ステップＳ８）、医用画像管理装置２は、クライアント端末４Ａのオンライン状態を解除し（ステップＳ９）、クライアント端末４Ｂからの画像取り込み指示に基づく取り込み待機状態となる（ステップＳ１１）。【選択図】図６
