PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of electric motor-driven scissors made freely settable in its shape and operation feeling of a trigger through detecting the pulling position of the trigger with a detection means and controlling the rotation quantity of a movable blade 2 with motor rotation by a controlling part, and excellent in operability.SOLUTION: This pair of electric motor-driven scissors comprises rotating the movable blade 2 by connecting with a link 8, a nut 7 screwed together on a screw axis 6 rotating in conjunction with a motor 4 to the movable blade 2, and rotating the motor 4 by the pulling operation of the trigger 1 to move the nut 7, and cutting an object to be cut by engaging a fixing blade 2 and the movable blade 2. The scissors have a detection means 12 which detects the pulling position of the trigger 1, and a control means 15 which controls the rotation of the motor 4 based on the detection result of the detection means 12.
