PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garden clipper in which shear blades can be released from locking and are prevented from re-locking.SOLUTION: The garden clipper is provided with: a pair of shear blades a motor for reciprocating at least one of the pair of shear blades and a control means for controlling the motor. The control means can rotate the motor in both the normal and reverse directions.
