PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pair of blade parts from being unnecessarily widely opened in response to a fact of continuously cutting a thin stem and a branch many, in electric scissors.SOLUTION: Electric scissors 10 control so as to put a pair of blade parts 40 in an opening state by driving an electric motor 20 so that a driven member 33 becomes a first position side when not imparting operational force for moving to a closing position to an operation lever 50 and to put the pair of the blade parts 40 in a closing state by driving the electric motor 20 so that the driven member 33 becomes a second position based on detection by a detector 61 when imparting the operational force for moving the operation lever 50 to the closing position side, and the operation lever 50 is provided with a stopper 70 supported so as to be capable of advancing-retreating to a casing 11, and the casing 11 is provided with a locking part 11b for regulating the operation lever 50 in moving to an opening position side by locking on the stopper 70 advanced to the casing 11 when the operation lever 50 exists in an intermediate opening position between an opening position and a closing position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】電動はさみにおいて、細い茎や枝を連続して多く切断するのに対応させて、１対の刃部を不必要に広く開放しないようにする。【解決手段】電動はさみ１０は、操作レバー５０に閉止位置に移動させる操作力を付与していないときには被動部材３３を第１位置側となるように電動モータ２０を駆動させて１対の刃部４０を開放状態とし、操作レバー５０を閉止位置側に移動させる操作力を付与したときには、検知器６１による検知に基づいて被動部材３３を第２位置となるように電動モータ２０を駆動させて１対の刃部４０を閉止状態とするように制御したものあり、操作レバー５０にはケーシング１１に対して進退可能に支持したストッパ７０を設けるとともに、ケーシング１１には操作レバー５０が開放位置と閉止位置との間の中間開放位置にあるときにケーシング１１に進出させたストッパ７０に係止して操作レバー５０が開放位置側に移動するのを規制する係止部１１ｂを設けた。【選択図】図３
