PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to improve defective product recovery efficiency in a tablet printing device for performing printing on a surface of a tablet.SOLUTION: A tablet printing device 1 includes: a conveyance mechanism for conveying a tablet 9 while sucking and holding it by the negative pressure acting on a plurality of suction parts； a head 42 for discharging an ink droplet onto a surface of the tablet 9； a camera 55 disposed on the downstream side of the head 42； a defective product determination part for determining an object tablet to be recovered based on an image taken with the camera 55； first blow mechanisms 611 and 621 for releasing the sucking of the tablet 9 by the positive pressure acting on the suction parts where the object tablet is held； a discharge sensor 63 for detecting whether or not the tablet 9 is present on the suction parts； a residual determination part for determining a residual tablet based on a detection signal from the discharge sensor 63； and a second blow mechanism 641 for releasing the sucking of the residual tablet.
