Device for treating wounds with reduced pressure. The device comprises asealing film, which is placed sealinglyaround the wound to cover the latter, an underpressure source, as well as atube (3), which connects a space over the wound andbeneath the sealing film to the underpressure source. The interior of the tubecomprises a longitudinal first strand (8) made of ahydrophobic material, as well as a second strand (9), made of an open-poredhydrophilic material, extending longitudinally over atleast a part of the length of the tube. The said material strands are enclosedin a tube casing (10) made of a flexible material.
