In one embodiment, an apparatusincludes a support portion disposable within apelvic region and a strap extending from thesupport portion. The strap has a length and isconfigured to be disposed at least partially within apelvic tissue. A sleeve is releasably disposed overat least a portion of the strap. The sleeve has alength that is longer than the length of the strap. Insome embodiments, the length of the sleeve is atleast twice as long as the length of the strap. Insome embodiments, a suture couples the sleeve tothe strap. The apparatus can also include a suturedisposed at least partially within an interior of thesleeve and forming two strands of suture withinthe interior of the sleeve. The two strands areseparated by a distance defined by a separator portionof the sleeve.
