Devices and methods for wound treatment are disclosed. The chamber is capable of defining a treatment space having an engineered interior surface, the engineered interior surface comprising a plurality of structures, the plurality of structures having a negative pressure. It is configured to provide a path for distribution and is also configured to exert mechanical stress on the wound. One or more tubes are in fluid communication with the treatment space and can facilitate application of negative pressure, introduction of therapeutic agents, and removal of wound material. Therapeutic agents can be formulated with gels such as hydrogels, hydrocolloids, alginates, methylcellulose, gelatin, or any other gel for sustained release and enhanced usability.
