PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress for which pressure is removed without the feeling of incompatibility and with which bedsores are effectively prevented.SOLUTION: The mattress is composed of the base body (1) of soft foam and a maximum pressure acting on the body in the state of laying on the back is 30 mmHg or less when thickness is 100 mm. To put it concretely, for instance, the base body (1) has the laminated structure of two or more layers and mushroom shape working for which many independent projections (2) are vertically and horizontally formed is executed on the surface of the top layer.
