PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-forming agent having a more remarkable therapeutic effect than a conventional agent containing only sulfa drug and chitosan drug, particularly a gel-forming agent for protecting a body fluid leakage affected part, a gel-forming agent for treating wound.SOLUTION: There is provided a gel-forming agent which contains sulfa drug and chitosan drug, and whose dosage form is a powder agent. Further, there is also provided a kit including a gel-forming agent and a method including a process of applying a gel-forming agent. The gel-forming agent, by applying the sulfa drug and the chitosan drug being powder agent in combination, keeps affected part pH in a range where therapeutic effect is exhibited better, and shows an antibacterial action of the sulfa drug. Further, there is also provided an application method of a gel-forming agent in which wet environment of the affected part is appropriately kept, granulation is appropriately formed, and the gel-forming agent can be sprayed without directly touching an affected part by a treatment person by using an appropriate powder agent releasing container due to a powder agent.【課題】従来のサルファ剤、キトサン剤のみよりも顕著な治療効果を有するゲル形成剤、特に体液漏出患部を保護するためのゲル形成剤、創傷を治療するためのゲル形成剤の提供。【解決手段】サルファ剤及びキトサン剤を含み、剤型が散剤である、ゲル形成剤。又、ゲル形成剤を含むキット及びゲル形成剤を適用する工程を含む方法。散剤であるサルファ剤とキトサン剤を組み合わせて適用することにより、患部ｐＨをより治療効果を奏する範囲に保ち、サルファ剤の抗菌作用を示すゲル形成剤。また患部湿潤環境が適度に保たれ、肉芽形成が適切になされ、散剤とすることにより、適切な放散剤容器を用いることによって、処置者が患部に直接触れることなく、ゲル形成剤を散布することができるゲル形成剤の適用方法。【選択図】なし
