PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article equipped with a reinforcing sheet with high rigidity for forming the stable reinforcing sheet in a manufacturing process without the mutual joining of tacky regions on the reinforcing sheet of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 has a longitudinal direction L and a width direction W and includes a body part 2 having a liquid permeable surface sheet 4, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 5, and an absorber 20 provided between the surface sheet and the rear surface sheet, and a flap part 3 protruding from a side edge of the body part to the outside in the width direction. On a non-skin contact surface of the flap part, a tacky region 310 (320) where an adhesive is applied is provided. The flap part includes a reinforcing sheet 7 which is provided between the surface sheet and the rear surface sheet and is smaller than a part overlapped with the flap part in a plane view for increasing rigidity of the flap part.
