The invention discloses a method by which potential bioactive compounds from herbals can be identified by regrouping after chromatography. The method comprises the steps of: selecting herbals with reports of therapeutic effects according to previous experience, extracting compounds by boiling or chemical methods, and separating compounds with the chromatography. The separated compounds are regrouped with different portions, which are further tested in vivo and/or in vitro to remove the inactive portions and repeating the same process until no more compounds can be removed, and the remaining compounds are synthesized or purified, which are made into various forms and utilized to treat diseases.本發明揭示一種分析鑑定中藥中有效成分的方法，根據以往醫生治病的經驗或報導，選擇針對某些治療疾病的中藥組合，提取它們的化合物，用層析法將它們分離，再將它們組合、濃縮，選擇適應的動物或微生物模型，用不同化合物組合，做動物或微生物學實驗，去掉在實驗中沒有效果的成分，反覆這個過程，直到不能再去掉沒有效果的成分，將發現的化合物製成各種形式的藥品，用於治療病人或將發現的化合物與其它化合物混合成各種形式的藥品，用於治療病人。該分析鑑定中藥中有效成分的方法，這種方法包含了中藥所有的優點，而又克服了它們一些關鍵的不足，同時也克服西藥開發中時間長、費用高的弊病。
