This invention provides an Antrodia camphorata extract and manufacturing method and use thereof. The Antrodia camphorata extract is obtained by the method described below including the following steps: preparing an Antrodia camphorata using supercritical fluid extraction method to extract the Antrodia camphorata, wherein the extraction process includes: using the solution from the family of alcohol and carbon dioxide to extract Antrodia camphorata for a period of time under a temperature and pressure to obtain an Antrodia camphorata crude extract and, using carbon dioxide to extract the Antrodia camphorata crude extract for another period of time to obtain the Antrodia camphorata extract. The method of this invention can prevent the active ingredients in the Antrodia camphorata extract from being affected by organic solvent. Moreover, compared with the Antrodia camphorata ethanol extract obtained by the conventional technology, this invention has a lower concentration for effectively inhibiting cancer cell growth and its cell cycle.
