PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting tool for assisting the suction function of a nasal endoscope, and an endoscope system using the same.
SOLUTION: The assisting tool 12 combined with a nasal endoscope 11 which has an insertion section 16 to be inserted through one nostril is provided. The assisting tool 12 has an insertion section 37 to be inserted through the other nostril. The insertion section is provided with a forceps channel in an internal space connected from a distal end part to a rear end part 40. The rear end of the forceps channel is connected to a suction valve 39, a forceps entrance 69 and an engaging part 38 provided on the rear end part 40 of the assisting tool 12 respectively. The suction valve 39 has a port 45 exposed to the outside, and a suction device 47 is connected to the port 45. For treatment and medical procedures performed using the assisting tool 12 together, by inserting a treatment tool from the forceps entrance 69 of the assisting tool 12 and operating the operation section 31 of the suction valve 39, the forceps channel of the endoscope 11 is used to suck sordes inside the body and body liquids such as blood or the like.
