The present invention provides a medical valve device (100) having a valve unit (20) comprising two fluid channels and positionable to selectably connect two inlet ports (11, 13)and an outlet port (12) such that in one position, fluid introduced at a first inlet port (11) is caused to flow in a first fluid channel (21) to a second inlet port (13) and thence in a second fluid channel (22) from said second inlet port to said outlet port (12).
