The present invention process a process for conjugation of an antigen comprising the steps of a) activating the antigen to form an activated antigen； b) reacting the activated antigen and a carrier protein or a linker to form an imine group linking the activated antigen to the carrier protein or the linker； and c) reducing the imine group using a reducing agent comprising a triacetoxyborohydride moeity to form a conjugated antigen or an antigen-linker； and optionally d) reacting the antigen linker with a carrier protein to form a conjugated antigen； optionally wherein the antigen originates from Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria meningitidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecium, Enterococcus faecalis, Salmonella Vi, or Staphylococcus epidermidis, optionally further comprising a step a') of lyophilising the activated antigen and a carrier protein followed by reconstitution in DMSO or DMF.La présente invention concerne un procédé de conjugaison d'un antigène comprenant les étapes consistant à a) activer l'antigène pour former un antigène activé ； b) faire réagir l'antigène activé et une protéine vectrice ou un lieur pour former un groupe imine liant l'antigène activé à la protéine vectrice ou au lieur ； et c) réduire le groupe imine en utilisant un agent de réduction comprenant une fraction triacétoxyborohydrure pour former un antigène conjugué ou un antigène-lieur ； et facultativement d) faire réagir l'antigène-lieur avec une protéine vectrice pour former un antigène conjugué ； l'antigène provenant facultativement de Streptococcus pneumoniae, d'Haemophilus influenzae, de Neisseria meningitidis, de Staphylococcus aureus, d'Enterococcus faecium, d'Enterococcus faecalis, de Salmonella Vi, ou de Staphylococcus epidermidis, et comprenant en outre facultativement une étape a') consistant à lyophiliser l'antigène activé et une protéine vectrice suivie par la reconstitution dans du DMSO ou du DMF.
