PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain saw with which trees etc. can be cut without any decrease in work efficiency even in a different work place and by a different worker who performs cutting work.SOLUTION: In the chain saw 1 having a front handle 3 and a top handle 7 provided to a body 2, the position of the top handle 7 in a vertical rotational angle direction and the position in a front-rear slide direction can be set by forming a long-hole 15 in a fitting portion 12 for supporting the top handle 7 and then fixing the top handle 7 using fastening fixation members 14 such as a bolt and a nut.
