PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sowing machine having a simple constitution in which in a raising seedling box having a prescribed width size used for a seedling transplanter, a stable treatment in a large amount is enabled while securing operability of supply of raising seedling boxes and taking out after seeding.SOLUTION: The sowing machine includes a carrying device (2) for receiving the raising seedling box at its one end, which is used for a seedling transplanter and comprises a rectangular shallow bottom container having a prescribed width size, and operation devices (6, 7, 8) for performing bed soil packing, seeding and soil covering in the raising seedling box on a conveying path. The carrying device (2) is formed in a width size for a plurality of conveying lines for conveying a plurality of raising seedling boxes in a vertically long posture in parallel.
