PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanting machine in which a spare tray is automatically supplied by absence of the tray.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanting machine 1 includes a tray supply device 100 for supplying a tray 20 for receiving seedlings 22, and a take-out device 200 and a seedling planter 300 for taking the seedlings out of the tray and planting them in a field. A tray supply device has: a tray transport path 111 for placing the tray a tray transport device 120 for transporting the tray placed on the tray transport path to the take-out device side a spare tray placing plate 910 provided at the upstream side of the tray transport path and placing a spare tray 20A and solenoids 950L, R for a pair of left and right stoppers for moving the spare tray 20A placed on the spare tray placing plate on the tray transport path.
