The invention discloses a method for preparing biofuel butanol from foodstuff wastes. The method comprises specific steps that: foodstuff wastes are adopted as fermentation raw materials, and are pretreated the pretreated raw materials are saccharified for preparing a fermentation medium fermentation strains are inoculated to the medium, and anaerobic fermentation is carried out and the biofuel butanol is obtained through solid-liquid separation. The method provided by the invention is advantaged in that: anaerobic fermentation is carried out upon effective components in the foodstuff wastes by using clostridium acetobutyricum, such that biofuel butanol is produced. The technology is simple, and no additional auxiliary substance is required. The method is advantaged in low cost and high operability. With the method, a raw material cost problem of traditional biofuel butanol productions is solved, and a novel technological direction is provided for the production of biofuel butanol.
