PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oligonucleotide analogue excellent in two characteristics of nuclease resistance and knockdown effect.
SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by an oligonucleotide analogue or a salt thereof in which a 3-terminal nucleoside constituting an oligonucleotide is replaced by a nucleoside analogue represented by a specific functional group. The functional group has a structure which contains either group selected from specific nucleotide analogues, has mutually independent side chains represented by an integer of 1-10, and contains hydroxy groups or lipophilic residues at terminals.
