PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient massage effect for a user without forcing the user to take an improper posture in a chair-type massage machine with a low backrest.SOLUTION: A chair-type massage machine 1 includes: a seat 2 a foundation frame 8 supporting the seat 2 on a floor surface a backrest 3 disposed in the rear of the seat 2 and capable of supporting the back of a user and a massaging part 6, housed inside the backrest 3, for performing massaging motions for the user seated on the seat 2.
