PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine which realizes a reclining posture giving neither fatigue nor a burden to a user by nearly equalizing the height of the front portion of a seat with that of a backrest.SOLUTION: A chair type massage machine 1 comprises: a seat 2 a base frame 7 which supports the seat 2 on a floor surface and a backrest 3 which is disposed at the rear portion of the seat 2, is capable of being reclined forward and backward with respect to the base frame 7, and supports the back of a user.
