To provide a wheelchair for preventing a recumbent base from falling from spaces to be generated between seat parts and backrest parts to be raised/lowered.SOLUTION: A wheelchair includes guide parts 20 for slidably guiding both of right and left end parts of a recumbent base along both of right and left ends of areas to be backrest parts 91, seat parts 92, lower limb support parts 93, and footrest parts 94 respectively by mounting the recumbent base to be bendable toward front and rear surface sides in a body axial direction of a user lying in a dorsal position. The recumbent base can be put-in/taken-out to/of the guide parts 20 from top parts of areas to be the backrest parts 91. Areas to be the backrest parts 91 are connected to areas to be the seat parts 92 so as to be raised or lowered backward via hinges 39 arranged on an upper surface side. Flexible sheet members 41 for covering spaces of connection parts are arranged on a lower surface side.
