PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair that can move a care needed person to or from a bed, a toilet seat, etc., in a seated state.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 1 includes: a seat 2 which is L-shaped in the side view and has a seat part 3 and a backrest part 5 a base part which rotatably holds the seat 2 with the seat part 3 and the backrest part 5 while keeping the L-shaped state at the position where the backrest part 5 becomes horizontal with a boundary point as a center and rolling wheels 9, 10, 11 which movably support the base part.
