PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having a mechanism for allowing a massage mechanism stored inside a backrest to be easily abutted to a back only when a massage operation is performed on the back of a user.SOLUTION: A chair 1 includes: a seat 2 a backrest 3 arranged in the rear part of the seat 2 and capable of supporting the back of a user and a massage mechanism 17 incorporated in the backrest 3 and performing a massage operation on the back of a user sitting on the seat 2. In the chair 1, a support frame 11 is arranged inside the backrest 3. The massage mechanism 17 is arranged in the support frame 11 via a movement mechanism 28.
