PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine capable of allowing a user to be in a relaxing posture and also giving a sufficient massage effect even when a chair has a low backrest part.SOLUTION: A chair type massage machine 1 includes: a seat part 2 a base frame 8 for supporting the seat part 2 on a floor surface F a backrest part 3 arranged behind the seat part 2 and supporting the back of a user and massage parts 5 incorporated in the backrest part 3 and performing a massage motion with respect to the user sitting on the seat part 2.
