PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce cutting seedlings of plants of the genus Eucalyptus by selecting and obtaining scions with a high rooting ability.SOLUTION: Such a cutting seedling that the cross sectional area of a scion is in the range from 4.5 mm2 to 20.5 mm2, and that the rate of a wood portion is in the range from 0.15 to 0.48 is used.
